1. Relative to the mandate of the Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDS) to monitor the SBM level of practice through validation and schools documents and outputs to determine areas for development and possible provision of technical assistance to improve schools’ performance, this Division would like to inform all schools that the initial SBM validation and possible provision of technical assistance will be conducted starting August 28, 2018 up to September 20, 2018. This is to give schools ample time to prepare all Mode of Verifications (MOVs)/artifacts/data needed in determining SBM level of practice.
2. This initial validation and possible provision of technical assistance aims to prepare all schools on the final validation to be conducted by the Division SBM Validating Team, subsequently, for the SBM validation to be conducted by Regional SBM Validating Team.
3. During validation, all schools are advised to prepare the accomplished SBM Self Assessment Report, MOVs and artifacts.
4. Principals and SBM coordinator are expected during the actual validation to determine the strength of their school as far as management is concerned, likewise to consider and implement course of action if there is any deficiency that needs immediate action.
5. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
