1. In consonance with DepEd Order No.12, s. 2020 titled “Adoption of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE — LCP) for School Year 2020— 2021 in light of COVID — 19 Public Health Emergency” aims to adequately guide all units, offices, schools, community learning centers, community and their parents, partners and stakeholders regarding the continuous delivery of quality basic education at the time where the Corona Virus poses threat to public health and safety.
2. While the BE—LCP sets the general guidelines for learning continuity for SY 2020-2021, and where some schools prepared their LCP early based on learners’ context, access and readiness to the applicable learning delivery modalities, the challenges on the implementation and responsiveness of the plan to the new normal remain.
3. In view of the foregoing, the Department of education through the BHROD — SED shall undertake the Readiness Launch on August 3, 2020. As such, the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development requests for updates and/ or reports on the status of the Learning Modalities Implementation Pilot Run in the public elementary and secondary schools.
4. In keeping up with the said undertaking, this Office shall carefully conduct readiness assessment of public schools on July 16, 2020 in order to qualify the school participants for the national readiness launch following the indicated typologies to wit: …
