1. As the School Year opens on August 24, 2020 guided by DepEd Order No. 007, s. 2020 titled School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2020-2021, this Division recognizes the importance of ensuring the psychological readiness and emotional preparedness of the learners to take academic classes through different modalities after an extended school year-end break and as they are being exposed to different issues in line with the global pandemic brought by COVID-19.
2. There will be two sets of modules to be administered with specific sets of learners. The Psychological First Aid (PFA) Modules will help normalize the learners’ emotions in connection with the instabilities of the situations brought forth by the pandemic. While the E-OSEC Project Module or the (Eliminate Online Sexual Exploitation of Children) is sponsored by Philippine Children’s Ministries (PCMN) that will foster online safety awareness among pupils and students vital in this time where learning is flexible and may be delivered in technology-assisted platforms.
3. The first two weeks of opening of classes shall be devoted to provide the learners with activities that will prepare them for the academic classes. Specific grade levels shall be administered with specific modules as follows:
