1. Anchored on the Learning Continuity Plan of this Division Office, the Program Jeepney Eskwela shall provide a concrete platform that public schools may adopt in mobilizing private individuals, private sectors, non-government organizations and other partners and stakeholders in supporting the distribution and retrieval of learning modules from schools to designated kiosks or hubs nearby the residences of the learners.
2. This program aims to support not only the needs of the school in its delivery of learning modules but it is also a noble way to extend assistance to jeepney drivers who lost their means of living due to the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine or due to compromised earning as an effect of strict compliance to IATF protocols where they only cater half of their usual passenger size.
3. The following are the mechanics should the school opt to adopt the program:
a. The school, through the ASP Coordinator, shall prepare the Jeepney Eskwela Calendar of Biya-HEROES (See attachment no. 2) and plot the schedule of distribution and retrieval of the learning modules based on their school LCP. The school shall also integrate in the calendar other existing pledges in delivering the learning modules (e.g. from private partners with available truck, barangay service based on MOA, and etc.) to see the exact dates needed to be supported by Biya-Heroes or the partners that will support the program.
b. Upon plotting the Jeepney Eskwela Calendar of Biya-HEROES, the school shall also determine the jeepney driver assigned at a specific trip of distribution and retrieval. The school may opt to support as many jeepney drivers as it can by distributing them equitably in the calendar.
