1. Pursuant to the Basic Education – Learning Continuity Plan of the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and DepEd Memorandum No. 53, s. 2020 on the Joint Implementing Guidelines of the 2020 Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela relative to the COVID-19 situation, this Office issues this Memorandum to provide guidance to schools on the conduct of monitoring and evaluation during the opening of classes
2. The theme for the joint 2020 BE and OBE: “Pagpapanatili ng Bayanihan Tungo sa Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Kabataan”, and the slogan: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan” enjoins all efforts to support the Department in promoting sustainable and safe living in the New Normal. It emphasizes the application of knowledge and unification of efforts in addressing the educational challenges, social issues at home and in school, and in the community in the midst of public health emergency.
3. In view of the foregoing, the Division Field Technical Assistance Teammates (DFTATs) shall conduct an onsite monitoring and evaluation in all public elementary and secondary schools starting October 5, 2020 onwards to oversee the readiness of schools under their coverage.
4. The results of the monitoring shall be consolidated by the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) for submission to the RFTAT.
5. Furthermore, this issuance reminds all concerned to observe strict adherence to the IATF minimum public health standards, DOH health and safety protocols, DepEd and DepEd IATF Local Task Force issuances and social distancing.
6. Attached in this Memorandum is a copy of the Contextualized Monitoring and Evaluation Tool for SY 2020-2021.
