I. In line with the Department of Education’s efforts to serve as the clearing house for all partnership initiatives at all levels and simplify data gathering and reporting tools, the City Schools Division of DasmarIñas will be holding a one-day School Heads and Adopt-A-School Coordinators Orientation and Pilot Testing of the External Partnership Service (EPS) School Partnerships Data Sheet on February 28, 2017 at Dasmariñas National High School.
2. This activity aims to:
a) orient the school heads and Adopt-A-School Coordinators on the use of SPDS;
b) subject the system into further testing and validation in order to fine tune templates and verify the efficiency of initially developed reporting mechanisms; and
c) identify issues and concerns on the usability of SPDS for system improvement and inputs for the policy issuance on the national roll-out.
3. Participants for the activity are the:
a) Public Schools District Supervisors
b) Public Elementary and Secondary School Heads
c) Adopt-A-School Coordinators
d) SGOD personnel
4. Funds to be used for the activity will be charged against Adopt-A-School Fund subject to the usual accounting and auditing procedure.
5. Attached to this Memorandum are the list of participants, the working committee, and the program of activities.
6. Immediate dissemination of the Memorandum to all concerned is earnestly desired.
