1. Republic Act No. 11476 or the “GMRC and Values Education Act” enshrines Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) and Values Education (VE) in the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. This act underscores the importance of teaching this learning area to ensure the physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social welfare of the learners. It seeks to cultivate students moral and ethical character, self-discipline, and human rights respect, which are necessary for nation-building and social development.

2. In the light of this provision, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) will conduct an orientation-workshop, titled Convention to Characterization: The Teaching of GMRC and Values Education amid the Rise of Artificial Intelligence.

3. This activity is designed to enhance the teaching of GMRC and Values Education from the conventional to a more character-oriented, values-driven, and engaging teaching through the value-based pedagogical approaches with the integration and utilization of artificial intelligence. Following this orientation-workshop, teachers and schools will ensure that characterization is consistently practiced in the teaching and learning of GMRC and Values Education. This aims to:
