1. Relative to Memorandum Circulars No. 881, 892, 903, 914 and 935 issued by the Office of the President, suspension of classes and work in government offices starting July 21 (1:00 PM) until July 25, 2025 was declared. The said pronouncement instructed government agencies whose tasks includes basic and vital roles in disaster preparedness and response duties to continue and remain operational to ensure continuity of essential government functions.
2. Anent this, the School Governance and Operations Division, through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management unit, conducted Pre-Disaster Risk Assessments (PDRA) and Rapid Damages Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) from July 22 to July 25, 2025. This aims to fully determine the extent of damages that may have been incurred due to the combined effects of the= Southwest Monsoon and the recent typhoons6.
3. Further, the DRRM Unit shall conduct a joint Post Disaster Needs Analysis (PDNA) with the Education Facilities Unit from July 29 to July 31, 2025 to the schools with reported damage.
