1. Relative to DepEd Order No. 37. S, 2015 or the Comprehensive Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Framework in Education which aims to promote a culture of safety and security for our learners, teachers and non-teaching personnel and to strengthen resilience by reinforcing mental health and psychosocial support systems, this Division hereby informs the field to prepare their respective Psycho-Social Processing Teams under the Rehabilitation and Recovery Committee of the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team on the onset of return to classes after days of class suspensions.
2. The standby provision of psychological first aid (PFA) is intended to counter the adverse effects of prolonged exposure to the effects posed by natural hazards including hydrometeorological hazards of tropical cyclones, heavy rainfall, and flooding that can have lasting impact to our learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel.
