1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 33, s. 2021 or the School-based Disaster Preparedness and Response Measures for Tropical Cyclones, Flooding, and other Weather-related Disturbances and Calamities, this Office through the School Governance and Operations Division – Disaster Risk Reduction and Management enjoins all schools to re-establish and maintain a Learner-Family Reunification Plan starting this School Year 2025-2026.

2. The plan aims to strengthen disaster preparedness and to help establish safe and legal turn-over of learners during suspensions or cancellations of face-to-face classes to their families or guardians to ensure that they are safely reunited in case of unsafe, unusual circumstances, emergency and disaster.

3. SDRRM Chiefs shall ensure the availability of this document as an active file that shall serve as a mechanism for reunification between learners and their parents, guardians or designated family members after face-to-face classes are declared suspended or cancelled.

4. Enclosed is the template to be used in accomplishing the plan.

5. For relevant queries, please contact Mr. Jeremiah Oliver P. Arciaga, Division DRRM Coordinator at (0927) 289 0609 or email jeremiaholiver.arciaga@deped.gov.ph.
