1. In compliance with DepEd Order No. 31, s. 2017, titled “Prescribed Timelines for the Processing of Requests, Documents, and Applications from the General Public”, Republic Act No. 9485 (Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007) and Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018), an act that aims to streamline the current systems and procedures of government services, emphasizing the importance of government agencies simplifying procedures, removing bureaucratic obstacles, and improving the overall ease of engagement between the government and the public, this office continuously improve its processes and services through innovations and partnerships, and gears towards digitalization.
2. In this regard, this division shall adopt the Less Paper System (LPS) which was developed by Schools Division of Imus City. LPS is a computerized system used to attach files, store, share, track, and manage files or documents. It has special features such as uploading of documents for signing, document logs, routed document and other features of the system.
3. Attached to this Memorandum is the matrix of activities relative to the pilot testing and implementation of LPS.
