1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 562, s. 2025 and aligned with the goals of the Department to strengthen research culture and manage research initiatives at all levels as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017, this Office announces the Call for Proposals under the 11th BERF Cycle and Non-BERF Research Proposals 2025.
2. All research topics shall be aligned with the Basic Education Research Agenda (DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2016) and the Division Research Agenda stipulated in Division Memorandum No. 649, s. 2024. Regional Education Development Plan (REDP) priority areas include Tracer Study on the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Learners, Performance of ESC Grantees, Learners in Disadvantage situations, Inclusive and Safe Learning Environments, Standards with Equity Approach, Integration of UNSDGs in Curriculum, Utilization of Multifactored Assessment Tools, Post-Secondary Destination of Senior High School Graduates, and Rights-based Education.
3. A proponent shall be allowed to submit one (1) proposal only. They should not be the lead author or co-author of any other proposal under the 11th BERF Cycle. Alongside the research proposal, proponent/ s shall submit following documents in PDF Format:
