1. In support of the Department of Education’s commitment to providing expanded career progression opportunities for teachers as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 24, s.2025, the Schools Division Office of Dasmarinas shall conduct the Division Instructional Supervision Training with the theme “Honing Classroom Teachers’ Potential as Instructional Leaders.”
2. This initiative aims to capacitate classroom teachers in assuming instructional leadership roles, thereby strengthening their competencies in curriculum implementation, pedagogical support, and learner-centered supervision. The training is designed to:
a. Equip teachers with the foundational knowledge, core competencies, and practical skills of instructional supervision to effectively support teacher development, enhance learning outcomes, and strategically navigate their professional growth within the framework of the Department of Education’s Expanded Career Progression System (DO 24, s. 2025).
b. Conduct pre-observation conferencing to review and provide feedback on instructional plans (lesson plans) and assessment tools (Table of Specifications) to ensure alignment and quality.
c. Apply effective coaching, mentoring, and feedbacking techniques (e.g., appreciative inquiry, active listening, powerful questioning) to facilitate reflective practice among peers.
d. Utilize classroom observation and student achievement data to collaboratively identify teacher strengths, areas for development, and appropriate professional development interventions.
e. Develop a personal professional growth plan that demonstrates readiness to assume the supervisory and mentoring roles required for advancement to Master Teacher or school leadership positions.

4. School heads are enjoined to ensure the active participation of their designated teachers and to provide necessary support for their attendance and post-training application of learnings.
