1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10661, also known as the National Children’s Month Act, and in support of the City Council for the Welfare of Children’s advocacy to uphold the rights and welfare of Filipino children, this Division informs the field of the various activities for the 33rd National Children’s Month Celebration this November 2025, with the theme “OSAEC-CSAEM WAKASAN: KARAPATAN NO BATA, IPAGLABAN!”.
2. This celebration aims to foster a unified and proactive stance against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) by engaging participants in awareness-building, policy reinforcement, and collaborative action that upholds and protects the rights of every child.
3. Attached to this Memorandum are the list of activities, dates, venues, and the registration link for each activity.
4. To confirm attendance, Teacher-Advisers shall ensure and facilitate the registration of learner participants in each activity.
5. Participants shall observe DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and ensure strict compliance with other existing DepEd rules and guidelines. School Heads are expected to make the necessary adjustments accordingly.
6. In view of the need for transportation services during the conduct of the activities, the schools of participating learners shall provide the necessary service vehicles to ensure their safe and timely travel to and from the venues.
7. Travel costs incurred in participation shall be charged against available local funds, subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
