1. In order to provide teachers and instructional leaders with advance technical skills in research and application of statistical tools, the City School Division of Dasmariñas will conduct DIVISION RESEARCH CLINIC AND MOCK RESEARCH PROPOSAL PRESENTATION on May 22-24, 2017 at Dasmariñas National High School.
2. This is consistent to DepED Order 16, s. 2017 to promote culture of research in the education department and DO 43, 2015 to strengthen evidence-based policy development and decision making and answer the gaps and issues in the basic education.
3. The training-workshop aims to: a. strengthen culture of research in schools across the schools division. b. raise understanding in the practice of research in addressing gaps, improving curriculum, cultivating good governance in basic education. c. deepen the appreciation on the significance of research as input to basic education school transformation. d. conduct research proposal presentation to provide technical assistance to teacher-researchers.
4. Participants to this activity are three (3) teacher-researchers who are willing and capable to conduct/carryout research output.
5. Participants are directed to bring individual laptop, internet connectivity, and extension wire.
6. There will be no registration to be collected; participants however are requested to bring their own provision of food and snacks for the whole duration of the training.
7. Immediate dissemination of the Memorandum is sincerely desired.
