1. Pursuant to Republic Act (RA) No. 12028, An Act Establishing an ARAL Program and Appropriating Funds Therefore, which is operationalized through DepEd Order (DO) No. 018, s. 2025 or the Implementing Guidelines of the ARAL Program, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), announces the conduct of the Division Capability Building titled “ARAL Amplified: Building Teachers’ Competence in Reading and Literacy Across Content Areas and Learner Diversity” on December 3-5, 2025, at Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias City, Cavite.
2. The activity aims to:
a. strengthen their core instructional skills in teaching reading and literacy across various learning areas and addressing diverse learner needs;
b. enhance their repertoire of instructional strategies for reading and literacy development, aligned with the primary goal of the ARAL Program; and
c. demonstrate mastery of differentiated instruction to effectively cater to students with varied reading and literacy proficiencies as well as diverse literacy needs.
3. The cost of meals, accommodation, and training materials shall be charged against the Division HRD Fund and ARAL Fund, while travel expenses incurred by participants in attending the face-to-face activity shall be charged against available school local funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
