Relative to the goal of having quality assured learning modules in different learning areas to ensure the thrust of learning competencies for learners qualified as students at risk of dropping-out (SARDO), the Learning Resource Management Section has launched the Flexible Resources for Equitable Education Delivery (FREED) modules last July 24 at NCST Dasmariñas. These learning materials will be exclusively used by the students of the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas to aid in the primary concern of not learning the competencies they are expected to achieve due to reasons related to absenteeism, sickness, or even those students who are usually off the campus in times of contests, sports competitions, and other events.

OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Mr. Christopher Diaz extended his warmest appreciation to all the teachers who have contributed their time and effort in creating the modules. The activity was also graced by the Regional LRMS Education Program Supervisor Mr. Eugenio Adrao and delivered his greetings to all developers, illustrators, and evaluators.

Certificates of recognition were awarded to teachers signifying their module completion. Winning subject developers and evaluators during the CALABARZON Learning Resource Expo last May 29, 2019 at Hotel H2O were also recognized by the Regional LR Supervisor Eugenio Adrao through the ceremonial awarding of the certificates. The FREED modules are expected to be field validated upon division-wide, digital distribution.

Prior to Project FREED Launch, the Division Learning Resource Center (DLRC) held its soft opening last July 24. The blessing of the newly-opened DLRC was led by Rev. Fr. Mark Reyes, the University Chaplain of DLSU-Dasmariñas.

Grolier International spearheaded by their General Manager Mr. Brian Maralit expressed their support in continuously increasing access of resources in the DLRC to cater the teaching and non-teaching personnel in the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas.
