In response to the goal of intensifying the Alternative Learning System program implementation, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) announces the conduct of ALS Program Mid Year Monitoring starting February 20, 2023.

These activities are part of the monitoring and evaluation of the ALS BE-LCP implementation.

A. Curriculum/Learning Delivery1.  Checking of Daily Lesson Log / Plan  This activity intends to determine the progress of the teaching and learning process.  ALS implementers are expected to have DLL/DLP.
B. Learning Resources1. Checking of available modules,  SLM, activity sheets, etc. This activity intends to determine the availability of the learning resources. ALS implementers are expected to present learning resources which are supported by the existing modules, SLM, etc.
C. Learning Assessment1. Validation of FLT, Assessment and RPL Results   2. Pre-assessment of Learners’ Presentation Portfolio This activity intends to determine the least learned competencies and to provide technical assistance on how to address such. This activity intends to determine the status of the Presentation Portfolio of the ALS learners. ALS implementer are expected to prepare a List of Least Learned Competencies as a result of FLT, Assessment and RPLLearners are expected to have at least 3 work samples on their Presentation Portfolio. 
D. Project Management1. Registration of learners in the LIS  2. Checking of the Learning Environment This activity intends to determine the number of learners enrolled in the LIS. This activity intends to determine the safety and cleanliness of the CLC. ALS implementers are expected to have a masterlist of learners enrolled in the LIS.CLC are expected to have a proper waste disposal, refuse single-use items, clean and orderly classroom/hall, etc.

The conduct of the exit conference is expected to present the observations and recommendations for further improvement of the ALS Program implementation.

The Division ALS Monitoring Team shall be spearheaded by Education Program Supervisor /ALS Division Focal Person Marites O. Manicio and respective Public School District Supervisor per cluster with the assistance of the two Education Program Specialist II in ALS:

  1. Maria Francesca C. Fadri – Clusters I- V Team Leader
  2. Serma H. Hernandez – Clusters VI-IX Team Leader
