In view of the anticipated release of the new Merit Selection Plan of the Department of Education, the field is hereby informed that the deadline of submission of documents for application for reclassification of all positions thru Equivalent Records Form and Plantilla Allocation List will be on February 28,
2020.
It is reminded that reclassification for Teacher II to Teacher III positions need not to be ranked since these position do not involve management and supervisory functions and no ratio is required as to number of teachers per school. In addition, teachers who are already tenured in service but still occupying Teacher I position are encouraged to revisit DepEd Order No. 15 s. 2004 titled “Dissemination of Department of Budget and Management Budget Circular No. 2004-1.”
However, the guidelines for reclassification and conversion of positions for Senior High School and position for non-teaching personnel are not yet available.
