In reference to DepEd Order No. 008, s. 2020 titled Guidelines on Enrollment for SY 2020-2021 in the Context of COVID-19, a modified enrollment procedure anchored on DepEd Order No. 03 s, 2018 Basic Education Enrollment Policy will be implemented only this SY 2020-2021 in response to the public health emergency due to Covid-19.
This modified enrollment guidelines will be facilitated primarily by kinder to grade 11 class advisers of SY 2019-2020. Information collected through the Learner Enrolment and Survey Form (LESF) shall be encoded to Learner Information System (LIS) by the same advisers and will serve as our baseline enrolment data for SY 2020-2021. Since transferees belong to a particular class and are already reflected in the system last school year, they are excluded in the exemption as provided by DepEd Memorandum DM-PHRODFO-2020-00192 Clarification on the Facilitation of Learner Enrollment and Survey Form (LESF) and Encoding to Learner Information System (LIS).
Enrolment Focal Person (EFP) of JHS for Grade 7 and SHS for Grade 11 shall likewise initiate contact with the previous class advisers of the learner to coordinate the administration of LESF if in case the previous class advisers failed to contact the parents of their advisory class.
