1. The City Schools Division of Dasmarinas will be holding a Division Training on Campus Journalism for School Paper Advisers (SPA) in accordance with Republic Act 7079 otherwise known as Campus Journalism Act of 1991. This will be held on April 24-28, 2017 at Sta. Cruz Elementary School, 8:00Am- 5:00PM.
2. This five- day training aims to: 2.1 enhance the skills, knowledge and attitudes of the School Paper Advisers on campus papering 2.2 capacitate SPAs on effective school paper management that is publishable standard 2.3 increase their level of competitiveness in various forms of competitions.
Participants to this activity are School Paper Advisers in elemetary and secondary schools (English and Filipino) and Division personnel In-charge of Campus Journalism.
4. Participants are advised to bring laptop, extension cord, printer with ink, school publication and pocket wifi.
5. There will be no registration fee to be collected. Participants are advised to bring their own food, Transportation of participants and other expenses relative to the conduct of this activity shall be charged to school campus journalism fund while food of trainers/ facilitators and logistics shall be charged to Human Resource Training and Development (HRTD) Fund subject to usual accounting and auditing procedures.
6. In preparation for the training, a special meeting will be conducted on April 18, 2017 at the Division Office’ Conference Room,1:00-5:00 PM. Participants are the following: Irlo Dumo, Rowena Salazar, Elizer Penaranda, Elena Ogena, Anthony Acedera, Pedro Bonayon, Hernan Buella, Belinda Porto, Glenda Cabutaje, Henry Grucen, Victor Mora, Joel Zaragoza, Vincent Revota, Sharmaine Dinaguit and John Nepomuceno
7. Attached to this Memorandum are the executive committee, matrices of activities, opening and closing program.
8. Immediate dissemination of the Memorandum to all concerned is earnestly desired.
