1. For the information and guidance of all concerned, enclosed is the copy of DepEd Unnumbered Memorandum dated April 8, 2022 re: Clarification on the Authority of Certain Officers to Administer Oaths.
2. In relation to this, the Schools Division Superintendent, Administrative Officer V and School Heads shall no longer allowed to sign on the following documents effective JANUARY 2023.
- Oath of Office;
- Personal Data Sheet (page 4);
- Sworn Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN);
- Other documents that should be signed by administering oath officer
3. While there are other officers who have general authority to administer the oath as stated in the said issuance. This office encouraged that such be done by our respective City Mayor whose name appeared below:

4. A separate notice shall be disseminated on the schedule of Oath Taking Ceremony with our City Mayor.
5. While, the School Heads are instructed to introduce the newly appointed school personnel during flag ceremony or in other activities that should be witnessed by the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff and school stakeholders and consequently conduct a brief orientation on duties and responsibilities, alternative work arrangement, dress code and relevant matters. Moreover, a certificate of assumption to duty and a one-page narrative report shall be submitted in this office thru hr@depeddasma.edu.ph.
6. Immediate dissemination of and compliance to this Memorandum are desired.
