1. Pursuant to DEPED- 4A- RM – 05- 17- 277 re: Monitoring of the Opening of Classes for SY 2017- 2018 in Public and Private Elementary, Secondary Schools, and DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2017, School Calendar for School Year 2017 – 2018, the field is hereby informed that Regional Monitoring Officials will be in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas for the Opening of Classes on June 5, 2017.
2. This activity aims to: a. ensure compliance of schools on the implementing guidelines relative to SY 2017 – 2018 Calendar of Activities b. enable schools to effectively and efficiently implement the school events and activities c. provide technical support to School Heads to strengthen capacity especially in the areas of instruction d. gather data on the real and actual situation of schools on the first day of classes d. address peculiar issues and concerns
3. Relative to this, all Education Program Supervisors, Public Schools District Supervisors together with other division personnel are enjoined to monitor schools to gather data utilizing the attached Monitoring Tool for the Opening of Classes.
4. Furthermore, the list of the Regional/Division Monitoring Officials can be found in the enclosure.
6. Immediate dissemination and compliance on the contents of this Memorandum is hereby directed.
