1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum dated May 7, 2019 re: Roll-out and Use of Facebook Workplace and DepEd Election Monitoring Apps, and the updates cascaded during the DepEd Synchronized Instruction, Procedures, and Guidelines (SIPAG) 2019 held on February 4-7 2019, this Office, through the ICT Services Unit, directs the use of Facebook Workplace for all official communications in the Division Office and all public schools in the city.
2. All DepED personnel, including teaching and non-teaching staff, at the Division and school levels are instructed to register at https://my.workplace.com. For account registration, use your DepEd email. Indicate your first name, middle initial and last name. Avoid all capital or all small letters.
3. For your profile picture, use a recent solo picture showing your visible face. Avoid photos of icons or initials, whole body pictures or personal photos with other people or animals.
4. Workplace secret group (not open or closed group) and/or Workplace chat may be created by Division personnel and school heads for the purpose of targeted communication to selected individuals! groups. All official communications including dissemination of memoranda, announcements, and other notices shall be posted in these groups and work chats.
