On April 25, 2018, Regional Director Diosdado M. San Antonio issued a Memorandum directing all Schools Division Offices and public schools to submit the names of persons composing their COMPLIANCE TEAM within ten (10) days from issuance of the said
memorandum. The Compliance Team shall be constituted as the Breach Response Team and Compliance Officer of the Schools Division Offices and schools in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
In relation to the said memorandum, public elementary and secondary schools are hereby required to submit names of three (3) persons to compose its COMPLIANCE TEAM taking into consideration the requirement that at least one (1) of its members must have the authority to make immediate decisions regarding critical actions, if necessary, on data protection.
Likewise, this Office informs the field of the composition of the Division Compliance Team:
a. Dr. Emmanuel L. Resurreccion (Chief, SGOD)
b. Atty. Rhina May Sayarot-Elicano (Legal Officer)
c. Mr. Carlou A. Adao (Information Technology Officer)
The list is required to be submitted to the Legal Unit of this Division on or before May 02, 2018.
