1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum 218 s.2018, entitled “Capacity Building on Managing Education Programs and Projects”, this Office will conduct the DIVISION CAPACITY BUILDING ON MANAGING EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS on October 15-16,2018, 8:00 AM at the Dasmariñas Integrated High School Library. This activity is designed to equip program/project managers and implementers with the necessary competencies in managing education
programs and projects in the division and schools, and in addressing implementation bottlenecks and barriers.
2. Specifically, this activity aims to:
• Integrate the functions of educational planning, M&E and technical assistance (TA) to the requirements of implementing programs and projects;
• Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of program and project management, and project governance;
• Demonstrate application of program/project management tools and techniques in tracking program implementation and determining program/project effectiveness;
• Explain the key concepts and principles in managing education programs and projects including the tools and techniques in troubleshooting problematic programs and projects;
• Explain the importance of managing stakeholder’s expectations and involvements;
• Explain the important requirements in mobilizing a program or project and preparing an inception report, and in terminating and/or closing program/project; and
• Explain the key concepts, principles, and techniques in program/project adjustments.
3. Participants to this activity are division office personnel/Unit Heads, schools heads, E-SIP/school community planning team (SPT) members, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) coordinators. …
