1. For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached herewith are Memorandum Circular No. 81, dated April 14, 2025, signed by Lucas P. Bersamin, Executive Secretary, from the Office of the President – Malacañang and Department of Education Memorandum No. 001,s. 2025 titled “Adoption of Half-Day Work-From-Home and Half-Day Work Suspension on April 16,2025 (Holy Wednesday) announcing the following work arrangements on April 16, 2025.
a. Work from home from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, subject to existing laws, rules and regulations (DepEd Order No. 004, s. 2025 titled “Guidelines on the Adoption of the Flexible Work Arrangement in the Department of Education”).
b. Suspension of work in government offices from 12:00 PM onwards.
2. It is also emphasized that agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations under usual working arrangements and render necessary services.
