1. With reference to Republic Act No. 11650, an Act Instituting a Policy of Inclusion and Services for Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education, and DepEd Order No. 44, s. 2021, titled Policy Guidelines on the Provision of Educational Programs and Services for Learners With Disabilities in the K to 12 Basic Education Program, this Office announces the conduct of Division Orientation on Implementing Rules and Regulations of the said Republic Act on September 7-8, 2026 to be held at Sta. Cruz Elementary School Covered Court, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Area E, Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
2. This activity aims to:
a. deepen the participants’ understanding of the provisions, and guiding principles ensuring that SNED teachers can accurately translate national policy into effective classroom practice,
b. equip SNED teachers with necessary skills in curriculum adaptation, Individual Education Plan (IEP) development to effectively address the diverse learning needs of students in both self-contained and inclusive settings; and
c. foster a culture of shared accountability and collaboration among teachers and address systematic challenges in the implementation of inclusive education programs.
3. The participants in this activity are the Special Needs Education Teachers and Receiving Teachers in elementary and secondary schools. Please see attached list of participants and matrix of the activities.
