1. In reference to Regional Memorandum No. 424 s. 2026, “Dissemination of the CALABARZON Indicative Sports Calendar and Sports Plan of Activities for S.Y. 2026-2027”, this Office announces the Project GILAS Calendar of Activities for S.Y. 2026-2027 to ensure that all division and school-level sports activities are synchronized with the regional calendar and are implemented in accordance with DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, titled “Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education.”
2. Attached are the CALABARZON Indicative Sports Calendar of Activities and Sports Plan of Activities for S.Y. 2026-2027.
3. Also attached is the Project GILAS Calendar of Activities for S.Y. 2026-2027.
4. Guidelines on strict adherence to the minimum health standards and safety protocols, promotion of learner rights and protection, designing disaster risk reduction management relative to the activities, adopting flexible learning options as well as conducting learning continuity, and provision of remediation and intervention support to all student-athletes are important considerations to be given utmost attention in the monitoring of school sports activities.
5. All School Heads, Public Schools District Supervisors, Education Program Supervisors, Division Sports Coordinator, and other functional Division Unit Heads and personnel should conduct monitoring of the school sports activities and provide support and technical assistance to schools.
