With only 7 months left before its target ISO certification date, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas ensures all its personnel are ISO-aware and ready. The Division conducted a two-day Seminar-Workshop on General Awareness on ISO 9001:2015 at Island Cove, Kawit, Cavite, which is participated by around 150 Division officials, staff and school heads.

The general orientation on ISO was facilitated by Mr. Paul Bagatsing, the Vice President of Anglo-Japanese American (AJA) Registrars. The participants were briefed on the history of ISO and the objectives and principles of Quality Management System. Likewise, the members of the Division were oriented on the 5S practice by speakers from De La Salle Health Sciences Institute Mrs. Carmi Anahaw and Mr. Oliver Ian Poblete.

A series of training-workshops on document control and internal audit is scheduled in the next months to complete the Division’s preparation for ISO certification.
