1. In response to DepEd Memorandum No. 228, s. 2008 also known as Nationwide Expansion / Roll – out of The Childs Savings Project Implementation, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas in cooperation with Bukluran Multi- Purpose Cooperative and National Confederation of Cooperative Networks (NATCCO) will be holding the FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM through their Aflatoun Program on September 8-10, 2016 at Bik 74 Lots 10 & 11 Phase 2, Paliparan Site, Brgy. Paliparan III, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
2. This on site three-day training on Financial Literacy aims to:
a. expand and roll- out the Child Savings Project in selected Elementary and Secondary schools in the City of Dasmariñas by training the teachers who will be responsible for the actual implementation of the concept in their respective schools and / or classes;
b. inculcate the habit of savings among school children in the country in order to empower them in their life choices and to break the cycle of poverty.
3. Participants to this activity are the Selected Education Program Supervisors (EPS), School Heads (SH’s), Grade Level Chairman, and School Financial Literacy Coordinator of the following schools:
3.1 Paliparan National High School
3.2 Paliparan II National High School
3.3 Paliparan III Elementary School
3.4 Pintong Gubat Elementary School
3.5 Paliparan Elementary School
3.6 Salawag Elementary School (Please see enclosure no. I for the list of participants)
4. There will be no registration fee to be collected. Food of the participants and training materials shall be charged against Bukiuran Multi- Purpose Cooperative (BMPC) Education Fund.
5. Attached to this memorandum are the matrices of activities of BMPC — NATCCO and DepEd Financial Literacy Program for Children and Youth in Selected Partner Schools (AFLATOUN Program), Terms of Reference, DepEd Memorandum No. 228. S. 2008, opening and closing program.
