1. Anent the Memorandum DM-CT-2024-040 re: Administration of the National Learning Camp Assessment (NLCA) 2024 released by the Office of the Undersecretary for Curriculum and Teaching last February 22, 2024, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division and ICT Services Unit, informs all public secondary schools of the Administration of the National Learning Camp Assessment (NLCA) 2024.

2. The National Learning Camp (NLC) is one of the learning recovery strategies aligned with the MATATAG Agenda to provide transformative, concrete, and targeted reforms to further improve the country’s education system. The NLCA shall use the pre-test post-test design to describe the effectiveness of the learning camp intervention on the learning proficiencies of participating learners before and after attending the NLC. It is an online computer-based assessment using the DepEd LMS Moodle platform which covers learning areas in English, Science, and Mathematics. The NLCA shall be administered in testing centers compliant with the technical requirements and specifications set by the DepEd-Central Office.

3. The NLCA Pre-Test shall be administered on the following dates to all Grades 7 to 10 learners enrolled in all public secondary schools in SY 2023-2024. The Post-Test shall be conducted on August 2024 to Grades 8 to 11 learners (same cohort), SY 2024-2025.

4. To facilitate the smooth conduct of the NLCA Pre-Test, a virtual orientation shall be held on March 5, 2024 via MS Teams. Participants to this orientation are the CID Chief, Public Schools District Supervisors, Division Testing Coordinators (DTC), Division Information Technology Officer (DITO), School Heads, School Testing Coordinators, and School ICT Coordinators of the thirteen (13) public junior high schools.
