1. With reference to the DepEd Memorandum No. 001, s. 2024 and Regional
Memorandum 43, s. 2024 on the Implementation of Catch-Up Fridays, this
office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), reiterates its
commitment to ensure that the schools in the field achieve its goals. Relative to this there will be a Division Monitoring of Catch-Up Fridays Implementation any day on February 8 to 13, 2024, and Regional Monitoring on February 16, 2024.
2. The monitoring aims to extend assistance to schools that will need guidance in the reconfiguration, integration, and/or modification to the class program following the set targets, themes, and subthemes of Catch-Up Fridays:
a. National Reading Program (NRP)
b. Values Education
c. Peace Education
d. Health Education
e. Homeroom Guidance. Program (HGP)
3. Schools are expected to prepare all the necessary documents relative the Division and Regional Monitoring.
4. Schools should use, but not limited, to existing Division Integrated Library
System, School Library, and available Learning Resources (LR) implementing this activity.
