1. In reference to Regional Memorandum No. 61 s. 2024 re: Reiteration of DO No.
1 s. 2022 or the Revised Policy Guidelines on Homeschooling, the Regional Office, through the Quality Assurance Division (QAD) reiterates the provisions in the said DepEd order, to wit:
a. Section VI. Program Implementation
Both public and private schools may offer Homeschooling Program as Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). Private schools shall secure first Permit to Offer, while Public Schools shall seek Authorization from the Regional Office.
b. Section VI-2. Availment of the Homeschooling Program
Only students residing in the Philippines shall be allowed to enroll. However, should the family relocate or travel to another country within the school year, the homeschool learner may continue his/her studies under the Homeschooling Program to fmish the school year, subject to the existing laws and regulation of the country where the homeschool learner relocated or traveled.
c. Section IV-15. Program Implementation -Provisions for Private Schools
Only private schools with Government Recognition can offer Homeschooling Program as an ADM
d. Section V. Program Standards C. Instruction
1. Learners
The Homeschooling Program caters to various types of learners whose parents/guardians choose to have them educated at home for reasons including, but not limited to the following:
a. learners at risk of dropping out;
b. learners with special education needs;
