1. The Department of Education announces the Designation of the New Members of the DepEd Provident Fund National Board of Trustees (PF NBT), pursuant to Section 3 (Governance) of Administrative Order No. 279, s. 1992 entitled Prescribing Rules and Regulations for the Establishment and Administration of a Provident Fund of Agencies Covered by Section 41 of the General Provisions of Republic Act No. 7180. The following are the newly designated members:
a. Assistant Secretary Tina Marie L. Canda (vice Undersecretary Luz Cantor), Representative, Department of Budget and Management;
b. Director Lorna Dig Dino (vice Director Isabelita M. Bones) Representative, DepEd Regional Directors; and
c. Director Armando C. Ruiz (vice former Director Mari Paul C. Soriano), Representative, DepEd Bureau/Service Directors.
2. The aforementioned new members of the DepEd PF NBT shall serve for a term of one year or until such time that the new Board is reconstituted. The other officials identified in DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 131, s. 2011 entitled Reconstituting the DepEd Provident Fund National Board of Trustees and DM 204, S. 2016 entitled Designation of Undersecretary Victoria M. Catibog as Chairperson of the National Board of Trustees, Department of Education Provident Fund, and of the Employee Account management Division-Finance Service as Secretariat Thereof shall continue to exercise their functions as members of the Board until further notice.
3. Unless revised, these new Board members shall perform the functions and responsibilities stipulated under DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2004 entitled Revised Implementing Guidelines for DepEd Provident Fund,
