1. DepEd Order No.22 s. 2023 re: Implementing Guidelines on the School
Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2023-2024 primarily aims to enable
schools and community learning centers (CLC) to implement school activities
and maximize instructional time in cognizance of the goals and objectives of the DepEd MATATAG Agenda effectively and efficiently.
2. It is stated on the General Guidelines of the said DepEd Order that “Recognizing its crucial role in enabling in-depth and real time teacher-learner interaction, in-person learning shall remain the primary learning delivery modality in all schools.” However, this Division understands the schools’ diversity and its context that might hinder the implementation of in-person learning.
3. Relative to this, this Division through the Curriculum Implementation Division
(CID) and Planning and Research Unit (PRU) gathers this report on Learning
Delivery Modalities and Shifting Schedule for possible provision of Technical
Assistance before SY 2023-2024 formally starts.
