1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 24 s. 2023 titled “Guidelines on the Provision of
Supplementary Learning Resources (SLRs) for Public Libraries and Library Hubs,” this Division informs the field of the creation of the School SLR Committee to ensure the provision of SLRs in public basic education school libraries.
2. The School SLR Committee shall identify the titles of SLRs for procurement
during the conduct of market scoping activities based on actual needs and priorities using the current inventory of school libraries and suitability to the school library using the DepEd Evaluation Rating Sheet for SLRs.
3. Schools shall submit their composition of School SLR Committee to this email:
cid.dasmacity@deped.gov.ph on or before September 29, 2023 with the following
subject: School Name_SLR Committee (e.g. Bautista ES SLR Committee).
4. Enclosed is the recommended composition of School SLR Committee. Also
attached in this Memorandum is DepEd Order No. 24 s. 2023 for reference.
5. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum is
directed.
