Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 43, s. 2017, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas enjoins all public elementary and secondary schools in the implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2017 also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week from May 15 to May 20, with the theme “Isang DepEd, Isang Pamayanan, Isang Bayanihan Para sa Handa at Ligtas na Paaralan.”
The Division kick-off ceremony and launch of Brigada Eskwela will be held on May 14 (Sunday) at 3pm in Paliparan III Senior High School. Details will be finalized and announced subsequently.
School Heads shall take the lead in the planning and observance of the National Schools Maintenance Week at the school level including the pre-implementation activities from March 1 to May 13. Enclosed with this Memorandum is the list of other Brigada Eskwela activities and their corresponding schedule as well as some important reminders for school heads.
All Division and school personnel and other stakeholders are encouraged to take part in Brigada Eskwela 2017 and contribute their time, effort, and resources in ensuring that all public schools in Dasmarifias City are disaster prepared, ecologically conscious, clean and conducive to learning for the school opening in June. Interested DepEd employees are permitted to render two days of volunteer work on official time with the approval of the respective Head of Office.
