The Cavite Cluster Meet will be scheduled on December 5-7, 2018. One of the regular sports to be competed is the dance sport. To enlighten the coaches /trainers in the Dance Sport Contest, a one-day Dance Sports Workshop and Clinic will be conducted on November 21, 2018 from 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
at Sta. Cristina Elementary School Covered Court. The discussant will be Mr. Niño Melindo from Dasmaririas Integrated High School. Participants to this activity (Cavite Cluster Divisions) are requested to send representatives and a pair of Latin and Standard Dance couple. They are also advised
to bring extra clothing, towel, drinking water, foods and snacks.
The Dance Sports Clinic General Objectives are:
1.Promote awareness of Dance Sport in Cavite Cluster Group (Public Elementary/ High School and Private Schools)
2. Provide venue for training of potential athletes and coaches in the field of Dance Sport
3. Instill discipline and passion for Dance Sport among athletes, supporters and enthusiasts
4. Encourage Dance Sport among the students as part of Regional Sports Competitions
5. Develop skills among Dance Sport athletes and enthusiasts with a syllabus based on the standards outlined by the International Dance Sport Federation
6. Instill and develop the values and virtues of humility, professionalism, perseverance, tolerance, team spirit, team work, mutual respect and sincerity among Dance Sport athletes
7. Initiate programs, activities and events such as Dance Sport competitions as part MAPEH subject.
