Attached herewith is a letter from ExplainED PH re: Online press conference from March 23, 2022 to April 22, 2022. The said activity aims to recognize the essence of community journalism maximize civic participation by journalistic collaboration and to encourage the youth to partake in safeguarding press freedom. The target participants to the press conference are all high school learners, for your appraisal with utmost consideration of DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time – On – Task and Ensuring Compliance. Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
Moreover, participation is purely VOLUNTARY and NO FEE SHALL BE COLLECTED FROM THE PARTICIPATING PUPILS, TEACHERS, OR PARENTS.
