Attached herewith is the communication letter of University of Saint Louis, informing this Office about the conduct of the 1st International Virtual Research Conference on Multiculturalism with the theme, “Prospects and Challenges of Multiculturalism in the New Normal” on December 3 to 4, 2020. The event will be conducted through their Center for Social innovation, Local Knowledge, and Education Research (CSILKER), University Research and Development Center (URDC), and the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Professional Development, in partnership with International Multicultural Network.
It is understood that engagement of schools in this activity is purely on voluntary basis and with utmost consideration to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on- Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith and other existing DepEd guidelines and policies.
Furthermore, attendance to this activity is on official time only and no government fund shall be utilized for the said purpose.
