The Computer Studies Department of National College of Science and Technology is pleased to extend invitation to the public and private high schools of Dasmarinas to participate in the Inter-High School ICT Skills Competition to be held at National College of Science and Technology MAIN Campus on March 11, 2016. This is the first time for our department to conduct this program.
The competition is designed to hone the knowledge and skills of Grade 10 students from different private and public high schools around Cavite. This also serves as venue for National College of Science and Technology totap students who have the potentials in the field of Information and Communications Technology. More importantly, this Inter-High School ICT Skills Competition geared towards the thrust of the Department of Education and Higher Education to produce competitive graduates especially in the field of Information Technology.
The objectives of this competition are to showcase the academic quality of students in each school; Recognize students’ knowledge, skills and creativity in the IT discipline such as theories and concepts, computer systems servicing, multimedia and visual graphics; Inspire students to achieve excellence with global standards; Promote students awareness on the value of education; and cultivate an atmosphere of academic competitiveness among schools.
