1. The Cavite Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines will celebrate its 70th CAVITE COUNCIL CHARTER ANNIVERSARY JAMBOREE to be hosted by Hon. Emilia Lourdes F. Poblete, Municipal Mayor of Silang, Cavite at Lalaan II Central School, Silang, Cavite on 08-11 November 2018 with its theme: “Scouting; Commitment to Excellence’.
2. The purpose of the celebration is to showcase to the public and the stakeholders, the contribution of the BSP-Cavite Council to nation-building over the past Seventy (70) Years, through the development of the young people by actively engaging and supporting them to become agents of change in their respective communities.
Specifically, the celebration aims to:
2.1 Promote BSP as foremost in developing the young people to become agents of change in their communities;
2.2 Celebrate with thanksgiving, the founding anniversary of the Cavite Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines;
2.3 Instill in the minds and hearts of the Filipino youth, a sense of pride and belongingness to an international youth organization; and
2.4 To faster camaraderie among members as brothers and sisters in Scouting
3. A Jamboree Fee of FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (Php500.00) shall be required each participant (Scouts and Scouters) to cover costs for program materials, administrative needs, awards/prizes, plaques, souvenir items and other miscellaneous expenses.
