Mr. Edgardo B. Quiros, National Library Chief of Information Technology Division conducted the Koha Library System Technical Consultation to the DepEd- Dasmariñas headed by Information Technology Officer, Mr. Carlou A. Adao together with the LRMD team last March 29, 2017 at the ITD Office, National Library of the Philippines, Manila.

The said consultation was prepared in relation to the LRMD project proposal of acquiring an open-source integrated library system for the City Schools’ Division Office. This Koha ILS came from the Maori word which means a “donation or gift” and originated from New Zealand.

The Koha ILS will benefit the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas in centralizing the system of learning resource access by both teachers and learners.
