Keeping up with its goal to be ISO-certified by August, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas continues to train its personnel in documentation and audit. The Division held the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Training and Process Manual Writeshop participated by selected members of the ISO team on January 31 to February 1 at the Bayleaf Hotel, Cavite.

The IQA training was facilitated by Mr. Paul Bagatsing, Vice President of Anglo Japanese American (AJA) Registrars. The 20 internal auditors of the Division composed of representatives from the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS), Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), and School Governance Operations Division (SGOD) were trained on the audit process and principles. A number of simulation activities were also conducted among the participants.

On the other hand, the process manual writeshop was supervised by Dr. John Nepomuceno, Quality Management Representative of the Division. The members of the Document Control Committee (DCC) sat down with the process owners and crafted the process manual for each unit. The outputs were then reviewed and revised.
