April 11, 2023 — While the rest of the Division Office personnel excitingly waits to welcome its new OIC- Schools Division Superintendent at the 2nd floor of the temporary office at Sigasig Building with a party popper ready to explode its colorful dashes, everyone suddenly rushed upstairs upon learning that the man of the hour has already been in his new office for quite a while. This anecdote of Sir Eli’s first day is a glimpse of his leadership – punctual, responsive, agile, and active.

The City Schools Division of Dasmariñas warmly welcomed Dr. Elias A. Alicaya, Jr., OIC- Schools Division Superintendent, on his first day of reporting to his new station with a colorful and merrily arrangement of balloons which understates the anticipation of everyone in the Division for its new leader.

Ms. Bernadette T. Luna, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Gemma G. Cortez, CID Chief, Dr. Leticia T. Lopez, SGOD Chief, supervisors, unit heads, and all other personnel witnessed the signing of official first day of Sir Eli. A series of colorful poppers rained cheerfulness all around the hall after the new superintendent inked the document that officializes his service to the City. The event was then followed by a simple breakfast and everyone feasted around a table served with hot pandesal, kesong puti, pansit, coffee, and carabao milk.
