1. In accordance with City Ordinance No. 10-S-2020 titled Ordinance Institutionalizing Dengue, Chikunggunya, Zika and Japanese Encephalitis Prevention and Control Program, Requiring All Residents and Establishments of the City of Dasmarinas to Strengthen the Fight Against these Mosquito-Borne Diseases and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof, the field is hereby reminded of the following:
• all public elementary and secondary school personnel and learners are advised to conduct simultaneous clean- up drive in their homes or schools:
a. every 4 o’ clock in the afternoon for a period of thirty (30) minutes every day.
b. observe STOP (every 4 o’clock in the afternoon), LOOK (for possible breeding site of mosquito) and LISTEN (listen to local government or Barangay Officials to prevent dengue in your area) and 4’S Kontra Dengue (Search and Destroy, Secure Self-Protection, Seek early consultation, Support indoor and outdoor spraying to prevent impending outbreak).
c. conduct search and destroy activities of mosquito breeding places and maintain clean surroundings.
2. A photo-documentation regarding this activity must be submitted to the Health and Nutrition Unit via e-mail at hnu@depeddasma.edu.ph every last Friday of the month.
3. Attached herewith is the City Ordinance for reference.
4. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum is desired.
