1. In reference to Division Memorandum No. 961, s. 2024 titled “List of Accepted Proposals and Schedule of Implementation of Monitoring”, this Office announces the release of Certificate of Research Proposal Approval and the schedule of monitoring for the approved proposals.
2. The Certificate of Research Proposal Approval will be available for collection at the Planning and Research Unit from January 20, 2025 to January 31, 2025, by the research proponents or their designated non-teaching personnel. The Certificate of Research Proposal Approval shall also serve as the endorsement for the conduct of data gathering in schools, provided that the research adheres to research ethics and guidelines.
3. The Certificate of Research Proposal Approval may be utilized in the Merit and Selection Process, if applicable, in accordance with the guidelines stipulated in DepEd Order No. 007, s. 2023. Kindly ensure that the research proposal is appended to the Certificate when it is to be used.
4. Proponents are advised to prepare the pre-filled Monitoring Tool and necessary documents for their conduct of research. The monitoring is scheduled from January 13, 2025, to January 31, 2025, by the Schools Division Research Committee. The following SDRC members and invited evaluators may conduct the monitoring either online or onsite, depending on the agreement between the evaluators and the researchers/proponents.
