1. In consonance to the letter received from the Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter Dasmariñas City Branch dated December 26, 2023, this Office through the School Governance and Operations Division – Learner Formation Program (formerly the Youth Formation Program) announces the conduct of the Youth Basic Volunteer Orientation Course (YBVOC) for Junior RCYC on January 12, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Dasmariñas II Central School, Congressional South Avenue, Brgy. Burol II, Dasmariñas City.
2. The activity aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the members and officers of Red Cross Youth Councils on concepts such as volunteerism and emergency response.
3. Participants to this activity are the nine (9) Executive Officers and one (1) teacher-adviser of Junior Red Cross Youth Councils (Elementary Schools).
4. Attached to this Division Memorandum is a copy of Parental Consent and the
letter from Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter Dasmariñas City Branch.
5. Participation to this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on
Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and
guidelines.
6. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall
be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing
guidelines.
7. Furthermore, the Program Management Team has fully understood and shall
comply with Division Order No. 1, 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and
Division Memorandum No. 45, 2. 2021 titled Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities.
