1. This is to inform the field that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) issued an Amendment on Revised Interim Guidelines on the Use of Leave Credits for Absences Due to Quarantine and/or Treatment of COVID-19 under MC No. 2, s, 2022 dated January 18, 2022.
2. The purpose of the said guidelines is to provide for the procedure of availment of leave privileges for absences incurred in relation to the required period of quarantine, isolation and/or treatment applicable to all public sector officials and employees relative of the COVID-19. This shall apply regardless of status of appointment (permanent, temporary, provisional, substitute, coterminous, casual, contractual or fixed term).
